KAILUA-KONA – The sold out crowd was in for a show as six contestants vied for the title of Miss and Mr. Big Island Pride Friday night at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel.
Former winners strutted their stuff on the runway in their finest flamboyant outfits to start the show. Contestants then competed in six categories including recycled couture, creative presentation, talent, evening gown/Q&A, zooming showgirl and original superhero.
Results were not available by press time.
